Happy Thanksgivukkah

For this double holiday, we’re serving up some fresh music from Soundcloud. Soundcloud is a platform for musicians to post and share their new material. It’s social too, so whenever an up-and-coming Israeli indie artist posts something new, we get a notification and listen to it. Our collection here is carefully curated music released in the past year, mostly over the past few months.

What’s on the menu?

For the first for the first course we have some well chilled selections like a Coenbeats remix of Esther Rada that pairs Cohen’s lush production and Esther Rada’s soulful singing. That’s followed by j.viewz’ unmistakable sound propelling Dido’s vocals to new heights. And rounding off the course is a warm and sunny track from a locally sourced artist named Ido Livni.

To cleanse your palette we’ve got some crisp sounds from the Raw Tapes crew and a healthy pour of Cohen with free flowing rhymes. Ditching the food analogies, and moving on to the dance segment are some fun and funky tracks by Funk Sinatra and Idan K. For dessert we have an aggressively textured remix of the Rolling Stones by Shimi Sonic.

Still hungry?

How about a second helping? Here’s a few more songs that didn’t make it onto the show, but are tasty in their own right.
