Vaadat Charigim have caught the attention of of music critics around the world. Spin refers to their music as Israeli shoegaze. Paste calls their sound “silky” and their subject matter “bleak.” Slug Magazine says their music “abounds in lush guitar and monotone vocals that swirl around in noise and bristle with the same nostalgic energy you’d find on Slowdive’s Souvlaki or Ride’s Nowhere.” They are all correct.
